Overview

Our display screen equipment (DSE) awareness course is designed for both regular users of DSE and those responsible for assessing its use. Whether it’s computers, laptops, tablets, or other devices, this course ensures compliance with Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations and enhances safety and wellbeing in the workplace.

Who Should Attend: This course is essential for anyone who uses display screen equipment for a significant part of their workday, defined as more than one hour daily.

Course Content

Participants will learn:

Identification of various types of display screen equipment.
Definition and responsibilities of a ‘user’ of DSE under current legislation.
Overview of Health and Safety regulations governing DSE and access to additional guidance.
Understanding the ergonomic impact of DSE on the body.
Recognition of risks associated with DSE and methods to mitigate them effectively.
