Course Overview

- Definition and criteria of what constitutes a confined space
- Potential hazards associated with confined spaces
- Safe operating procedures
- Emergency procedures and rescue operations
Important Note
This is an awareness course designed for individuals who need to understand the hazards and risks of confined space work but are not required to enter confined spaces. If you need to perform any work in or near confined spaces, you will also need to complete ‘approved’ practical training at the ‘appropriate’ level.
