Course Overview:

This scheme aims to ensure that businesses compliant with food laws and effectively managing food safety risks receive higher ratings, notably four or five. However, any significant lapses in scoring criteria can adversely affect ratings.

This course provides an overview of the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, covering its workings, scoring criteria, assessment by inspectors, appeals process, the implementation of Safer Food Better Business (SFBB) management system, E.Coli considerations, and practical advice to optimize premises’ hygiene ratings.
